Cedar Pointe is a brand new soap opera based on the lives of fictional Cedar Pointe residents. Season One is slated to begin in mid-September. The audition period is still open, and closes on September 15, 2007. The script for Episode One is already written and set construction is under way.
Cedar Pointe was created by Patricia Harbin of Harper’s Cove, formerly of Apple Valley. Mrs. Harbin is known for her contributions to STAR magazine and the famous soap opera "Pahala Shores". Upon moving to Harper’s Cove, Mrs. Harbin started to dream of having her very own productions company, and Harbin Productions was born. Cedar Pointe is her first major project, although it will not be her only project! She has other ideas in the works including a talk show and a major motion picture.
